Christmas Decorations In Tucson, Arizona
Christmas: Most folks have a preconceived notion of what Christmas looks like. |
You know, the little house with a chimney belching out pretty white smoke,
snowflakes falling on the tongues of eager kids, pine trees all over the landscape
and a trip to Grandmother’s farm in a horse drawn sled. |
Well, it’s not like that everywhere. Chimneys are very scarce out here in Tucson, Arizona. |
Snowflakes falling on the tongues of eager kids, well, if they’re lucky, every few years at best. |
Pine trees all over the landscape, they sell pines from Michigan on dirt lots every few miles. We just make do with what we have and try our best to modify old traditions that we’ve brought with us in life. |
